If I could shoot Allen + Anna's wedding every weekend, I'd be the happiest girl. This day was truly one of the most special things i've ever had the privilege of being a part of. I really can't pinpoint exactly what it was that made me feel that way other than the genuine love the was present throughout the entire day. This wedding was such a momentous occasion, that everyone couldn't help but be filled with joy! Anna was so calm the entire day, but I could tell that she couldn't wait until the moment she was Allen's wife. These two are more than perfect together, and they've become such sweet friends to me. So thankful to have been able to document their day!
This post is a bit lengthy, so grab a cup of coffee (or iced coffee if you live in los angeles- crazy hot this week!), take a seat, and enjoy!
I'm hoping to post a little bit about my brother & his soon-to-be bride a little later this week...they get married in just 6 days! We're all getting just a wee bit excited over here ;)
XO.

Allen & Anna met several years ago, at a restaurant. Anna, who is originally from Northern California, was living down here and going to school. She was working on a project where she had to interview different restaurants...and she just happened to pick the one where Allen worked as a host. I remember her telling me that it had been a long day and she thought she didn't look her best (as if that was possible! :), but she went in anyways. She remembers thinking he was super attractive but never thought she would ever see him again.
Flash forward a little bit, and Anna is at church one Sunday....which just happens to be the same church that Allen attended! She somehow meets his mom, who after just a few minutes tells her "You're just my son's type." Anna smiles and takes it as a compliment.
Soon thereafter she realized that this lady's son is Allen, the attractive guy that she had seen several weeks before at the restaurant! They formally meet, and you know what they say....the rest is history.
The sweetest moments happened all day at this wedding. I could hardly handle it.
Filled. with. Joy. Pretty sure she is smiling at her new husband in this image :)
This light! Swoon.
Had to steal a shot of one of my past bride + grooms...I adore Katie + Colton!
Allen's sister Victoria and brother in law Jason | who is a musician and
producer | performed a song he wrote- such a sweet moment!
